Schedule an Appointment Today!
Has it been some time since we last saw you for a hygiene examination and cleaning? We recommend that most of our patients visit our office every six months; however, we do have certain patients, such as those who suffer from gum disease, who we like to see more often than six months. During these appointments, we do more than just clean your teeth. We also take digital X-rays and inspect your mouth to determine if there is any decay, gum disease, or oral cancer. Even patients who have an excellent at-home hygiene routine are recommended to visit every six months for a cleaning. These appointments allow us to be proactive with your oral health and help prevent a dental emergency or the need for extensive treatments. If there is a concern with your mouth, we can make a recommendation for a treatment to rectify the situation immediately.
Prevent an Emergency
As mentioned above, dental emergencies can be avoided with regular dental care. Dental issues can develop at any time and continue to worsen until there is medical intervention and treatment is completed. The longer a dental issue remains undetected and untreated, the bigger chance you are taking that you will experience a dental emergency. A dental emergency can be anything from discomfort to severe pain or even an abscess.
If you have not visited our office in quite some time, we encourage you to schedule an appointment today. We also hope you will encourage your loved ones to make an appointment as well. If a loved one is in need of a new dental home, be sure to send them our information. We love to welcome new faces to our practice. We look forward to seeing you at our office located in Houston, TX soon!
