Let me preface this by saying this rating is based on a first time visit/consult. I will have subsequent visits to make for extensive dental work so I will update accordingly if anything changes and/or if I have anything else to add.
First of all, I made the appointment via online on a Friday around 11:00 a.m., got confirmation sent to my email for an appointment approval at 2:00 p.m. the very same day. That was awesome! It was not busy when I arrived, the place appear very clean, and everyone from the receptionist (Vanessa) up to the person/nice man that I spoke with at the end about the financial side of things was very kind and courteous. (I'll remember names next time). The MA (medical assistant) that was with me, I hate that I forgot her name, a very pretty Cuban young lady, was absolutely the sweetest, put my anxieties to rest, gushed about how much she loved the dentists she worked with for the last three years, was thorough and personable, and I was so very appreciative of that. I am one of those people that can tell by the way a medical assistant or nurse talks about the doctors they work with whether or not I should stay there. After all, doctors can not do their work without good teamwork which means that there has to be a mutual respect, and MA's/ nurses get to see firsthand how the patients are spoken to and how problems are solved.
On this day I spoke with the man doctor/husband of Fatemah Ebrahimi. I say this because when I looked it up online I thought I was going to see the wife, but she was not there - which was fine. He was patient, and he was thorough, & he explained we were going to start off doing things in two phases. The cost for phase 1 was in the 4 digit area, but I must let you know that I need EXTENSIVE work. I have been a full time caretaker, and presently a caretaker and mother to three-year-old twins with one being with special needs (Blind, Cerebral palsy, epilepsy, is on oxygen 24/7, has hydrocephalus, etc) requiring 24/7 care - I have put my health on the back burner since 2013 & that only became even more so once I had my twins 4 months early... BOTTOM LINE: I NEED LOTS OF WORK, And doctor Ebrahimi gave me the confidence to know that we can make things happen here. I tell you all this because when I was reading reviews myself I was looking for somebody that had some type of story to let me know that this place deals with people who have not been to see a dentist in a very long time, & I only found a handful. I will be sent to have a CT scan at some point, but for now we are doing antibiotics to treat an infection, and I will have another appointment next week to do the extractions and deep cleaning. Once again, I will update this review accordingly.
Great first visit/ appointment & impression!
