About Galleria
When The Galleria opened in 1970, developer Gerald Hines modeled it after the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, right down to the glass vaulted ceiling and the ice rink at its center. Today it anchors the Uptown District, one of the largest business and retail centers in the country, with Post Oak Boulevard running past the soaring Williams Tower and its beloved Water Wall.
The neighborhood wraps around the 610 Loop where it meets Westheimer and San Felipe, blending high rise living with quiet, established streets.
